The main focus of the company on these past years has been the sector of Railway Works, on which it is specialised, having special equipment and qualified staff. The works that have been implemented are an important part of the main railway network of Greece, making Xanthakis S.A one of the most reliable companies in the filed of constructions.

At the same time, the company implements road and bridge construction works, harbour works and green projects.

Following the economic developments and the environmental changes of the last few years, the company Xanthakis SA invests methodically and responsibly in the field of Renewable Energies and more specifically in photovoltaic technology.

Having concluded extensive research and invested in human resources and know-how, the company has already begun the procedures for the construction of a photovoltaic park with a total power capacity of 2MW, which will be completed in 2011. At the same time, the company has submitted applications to the competent authorities for photovoltaic parks with a total power of 7MW; further developments regarding these applications are expected soon.

Other fields of business activity for the company are building and private projects. Currently, a historic building in the centre of Thessaloniki is under renovation to be modified and used as a 5* hotel.
